Portrait of Garth SheriffGarth Sheriff, CPA, CA, CPA (Illinois), CIA, CGMA, MAcc the founder of Sheriff Consulting and provides continuing professional development (CPD) courses in areas of leadership, communication, and assurance. Garth has worked as an assurance professional and learning provider for over 20 years. He has also acted in various stage and film productions and is a graduate in improvisation from The Second City and a proud member of ACTRA.

Prior to creating VCI, Carl spent almost 30 years with PwC Canada in a variety of executive leadership roles. A Lead Partner on some of PwC’s largest national (and global) priority clients, he enjoyed testing the power of positive influence. As PwC Canada’s National Leader of Culture & Leadership he developed PwC’s service offering around enhanced Emotional Intelligence (“EI”) - increasing one’s capacity to cope and thrive amidst growing demands and expectations. He is a Certified Optimize Coach and was PwC Canada’s National Partner Coaching Leader, where he led a faculty of professional external coaches, sat on several of PwC’s global steering committees, and was a founding member of both the PwC Canada Charitable Foundation and its Women in Leadership programs. Carl has travelled the world providing talks and facilitating workshops that involve culture change, EI and leadership development. Having helped numerous global companies, not-for-profit organizations, and Professional Associations alike, he often says that it is his privilege and pleasure to serve wherever needed.

Portrait of Arun MathurArun Mathur, FCPA, FCA, is the owner and lead instructor at UltimQuest Knowledge. He has over 40 years experience as a professional accountant, trainer, board member and community leader. He has presented to thousands of CPAs and business professionals around the world on business ethics, improving governance, ESG and related topics. He explains how operating ethically results in a return on investment to individuals and to businesses. In 2018, he was awarded the FCPA designation from CPA Ontario. This fellowship is a recognition as a leader in the profession. He hopes to inspire the next generation of professional accountants to achieve fulfilling careers that create a positive impact in our society.

Karl GeorgeKarl George, MBE, is a thought leader and internationally established consultant in governance. He is a visiting professor with an honorary doctorate, and an established author. He is also a Partner and head of Governance at the leading professional services firm RSM. Karl created The tgf Governance Code, The RACE Equality Code and the Effective Board Member Programmes, and works with boards and senior executives in the private, public and voluntary sectors and has over twenty five years’ combined experience in accountancy, business and strategic development. Karl a qualified accountant and Fellow of the global international body for governance practitioners ICSA: The Chartered Governance Institute. Karl’s latest book Governance 3.0 provides an international perspective on modern governance.

Portrait of Jennifer LynchJennifer Lynch, MBA, CPA, CMA, CFE, CFI, CBV, ABV, is a qualified expert witness in the field of forensic and investigative accounting. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant, a Certified Management Accountant, a Certified Fraud Examiner, a Certified Forensic Investigator, and a Chartered Business Valuator. She is the President and Principal Forensic Accountant at Lynch & Associates providing comprehensive and high-quality forensic accounting services for diverse clients. She is a professor at York University teaching “Earnings Management and Forensic Accounting” for their MFAc program. She has also co-authored a book for LexisNexis Canada Inc., Financial Crimes in Canada: An Overview of Money Laundering and Fraud.

Portrait of Bob ForsythRobert (Bob) Forsyth, FCPA, FCGA, MBA, MA, has been an accountant in public practice for over thirty years. Since 1996 he has focused on forensic accounting. He regularly worked with government agencies, First Nations, and lawyers. Bob has taught Professional Development seminars across Canada and in the Caribbean.
