Registration must be completed 48 hours before the event date.

CONFIRMATION OF REGISTRATION

A confirmation of event registration is emailed to individuals upon registration. If you haven’t received a confirmation email at least 48 hours prior to an event, please contact CPA Ontario to ensure that your registration was received at 416.969.4321 or 1.800.387.0735.

TERMS OF USE

As a condition of your participation in any PD courses, you acknowledge and agree that you will not:

  1. copy, modify, adapt, translate, decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer the PD course content, technology or software (together, the "Course Elements") or otherwise attempt to discover the source code of the software;
  2. rent, lease or assign the Course Elements to any third party;
  3. with the exception of any information or materials necessary to fulfill PD course requirements or complete PD course exercises, download any training tutorials or any other text, multimedia images (graphics, audio and video), data and other information provided in connection with the Course Elements; or
  4. allow access to the Course Elements by any user other than yourself.

PROGRAM MATERIALS

CPA Ontario does not distribute printed copies of materials. All materials are distributed electronically to attendees. Please ensure your email address on file with CPA Ontario is accurate prior to the event to ensure you receive program materials.

REFUND POLICY

Registrants must submit withdrawal and transfer requests at least 14 days prior to the event to receive a credit on their account in the Event Registration Portal, a withdrawal service charge will apply. Registrants who do not withdraw before the deadline will not receive credit for the seminar. No exemptions will be made. Conferences, Certificate and Executive Programs all have different withdrawal deadlines indicated on CPA Ontario’s website. On-Demand programs are not refundable.

CPA Ontario reserves the right to cancel events. If an event is cancelled, registrants will be notified and issued a full credit on their account in the Event Registration Portal.

PD Passports are not transferrable or refundable.

MEALS

Full-day, in-person courses include breakfast, lunch and beverages.

Requests for vegetarian meals and information concerning specific food allergies should be indicated in the “Accessibility, Accommodations and Dietary Requests” section of the online registration process.

You hereby agree to release CPA Ontario and its Council members, officers, employees, agents and representatives (together, “Representatives”) from, and in no event shall any of them be liable to you or any other person or entity, for any and all liabilities, damages and costs (including any direct, indirect, special, exemplary or consequential damages, including lost profits) whatsoever arising from your use of the Content. You will indemnify and hold harmless CPA Ontario and its Representatives from and against any claims, losses, judgments, damages, costs and expenses (including without limitation, reasonable legal fees and expenses) incurred by any of them due to or resulting from your use of the Content. You will also indemnify and hold harmless CPA Ontario and its Representatives from and against any claims brought by any third parties arising out of your use of the Content.
