PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PASSPORTS
CPA Ontario is committed to helping all Ontario members meet their continuing professional development (CPD) needs in a
convenient, cost-effective manner. Purchasing and completing a Personal PD Passport each year will help CPAs fulfill their
CPD requirement and save $420!
PD Passports are valid for seminars taken from January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2016 and cannot be extended beyond the expiry date. Events that are not eligible for passport pricing will be noted as such, but PD Passport holders may still be entitled to special discounts.
PERSONAL PD PASSPORT
Personal PD Passports are exclusive to CPAs and cost $840, plus HST. A Personal PD Passport is the equivalent to three days of PD seminars or any combination of half-day, one-day or two-day seminars. Personal PD Passport holders can register for additional seminars at the discounted rate of $280, plus HST, per day. Personal PD Passports are not transferrable or refundable.
ORGANIZATIONAL PD PASSPORT
The Organizational PD Passport is designed for organizations interested in purchasing PD for more than one staff member. The Organizational PD Passport is fully transferable among all staff in a firm or organization. The cost is $1,980, plus HST, and entitles your staff to six days of PD seminars (any combination of half-day, one-day or two-day seminars). Organizational PD Passport holders can register for additional seminars at the discounted rate of $330, plus HST, per day.
CPAs and students in the CPA program have exclusive access to reduced pricing for individual seminars.
Registration must be completed 48 hours before the event date.
Confirmation of Registration
A confirmation of event registration is emailed to individuals upon registration. If you haven’t received a confirmation email at least 48 hours prior to an event, please contact CPA Ontario to ensure that your registration was received at 416.969.4321 or 1.800.387.0735, ext. 4321.
CPA Ontario does not distribute printed copies of materials. All materials are distributed electronically to attendees. Please ensure your email address on file with CPA Ontario is accurate prior to the event to ensure you receive program materials.
Registrants must submit withdrawal and transfer requests at least 14 days prior to the event to receive a credit on their account in the Event Registration Portal, a withdrawal service charge will apply. Registrants who do not withdraw before the deadline will not receive credit for the seminar. No exemptions will be made. Conferences, Conventions, Symposiums, Certificate, Executive and Residential Programs all have different withdrawal deadlines indicated on CPA Ontario’s website.
CPA Ontario reserves the right to cancel events. If an event is cancelled, registrants will be notified and issued a full credit on their account in the Event Registration Portal.
PD Passports are not transferrable or refundable.
Full-day courses include breakfast, lunch and beverages.
Requests for vegetarian meals and information concerning specific food allergies should be indicated in the “special instructions” section of the online registration process.
