NOTE: This newly revised course has shifted online into six, half-day, live, instructor-led sessions. During these times of unprecedented change in digital technologies, globalization of businesses and the overall way businesses are working as a result of the pandemic, it is critical for organizations to operate at peak levels of performance to succeed. In this CPA Ontario Executive Program, participants will explore the technical, ethical and interpersonal skills they need to master and sustain change, and help their organizations stay agile and more easily adapt to change.

This online, interactive learning environment fosters a destination for finance executives looking to refresh, renew and network with others who are sharing similar challenges and experiences. Your active participation will be required throughout the program. A combination of exercises, tool kits, guest speakers and lively discussions, are all facilitated by two of CPA Ontario’s proven, long-time executive professional development leaders. Allow them to guide you on your journey. Come prepared for a unique experience that will move you towards realizing your full CFO potential.

Expect to learn about topics such as how the role of CFO has evolved due to the pandemic, and the CFO’s role in relation to the Board of Directors. The program covers shifting organizational priorities: thinking ahead of the curve, and looking at what the pandemic has taught us. You will define CFO success and what it takes to get there and stay there. The program also explores drivers of change, personal integrity and ethics, analytics and performance improvement, and leading within and outside the finance function.

PREREQUISITE KNOWLEDGE

You will be sent an agenda and various pre-course work via email to be completed prior to the program. Please ensure your email address is up to date and you complete the required pre-course work and return it prior to the due date on the email.
