This bundled course is a four half-day, live, instructor-led session + an additional On Demand course ("People, Culture and Change in the NFP Sector") which has been added at no additional cost. We have adapted the interactive sessions to include regularly scheduled breaks and digital breakout rooms for virtual networking and group discussions. This Budgeting and Financial Reporting for Charitable and Not-for-Profit Organizations will provide leaders with an introduction to budgeting and financial reporting and discuss the best practices and requirements for financial reporting to both internal stakeholders such as the Board of Directors and the Finance Committee and for external stakeholders such as donors and government. Participants will also learn about the various accounting frameworks and revenue recognition methods consistent with the Accounting Standards for Not-for-Profit Organizations and gain insights on how to read and understand the various financial statements.

This program is designed for not-for-profit professionals who wish to integrate strategy, risk management and finance in a not-for-profit organization.

Participants who complete the program are eligible to write an optional certificate exam included in the course. The exam is not mandatory, and Certificates of Completion will be awarded only to those who successfully complete the exam. CPD hours will be granted regardless if the exam is taken. The exam will take place on the last day from 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM
