This Budgeting and Financial Reporting for Charitable and Not-for-Profit Organizations will provide leaders with an introduction to budgeting and financial reporting and discuss the best practices and requirements for financial reporting to both internal stakeholders such as the Board of Directors and the Finance Committee and for external stakeholders such as donors and government. Participants will also learn about the various accounting frameworks and revenue recognition methods consistent with the Accounting Standards for Not-for-Profit Organizations and gain insights on how to read and understand the various financial statements.
