This newly revised course has shifted online into three, half-day, live, instructor-led evening sessions. We recognize that online learning a vastly different experience from an in-person seminar and our instructors have adapted the interactive sessions to include regularly scheduled breaks and digital breakout rooms for group discussions. Our goal is to make your experience more convenient as we navigate the new reality of virtual learning.

  • One of the difficult jobs facing every manager is how to get the most from their staff with the least effort. Telling people what to do only creates resistance and asking politely may lead to halfhearted efforts. Wise managers get their staff to want to do what their managers want them to do. This is done by influencing others, rather than browbeating or cajoling. In this interactive workshop, a variety of psychological techniques and many exercises are presented to attendees to help them master numerous ways of influencing others. Group discussions and role playing will help attendees to learn how to change opinions, avoid conflicts, and maintain control.
