Before registering for this session, please note, it is going to be an in-person session and will be held at the Vantage Venues in Toronto, Ontario. You MUST attend in person to participate, there will not be an option to join this session virtually. After the session, you will be invited to join your classmates at Scotiabank Arena to see the Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Chicago Blackhawks. CPA Ontario will host you in a private box which includes a buffet dinner and an assigned seat, with a cash bar. Someone from the PD Learning Team will be in touch with you closer to the session date with more logistical details and your ticket to the game.

An integral part of a manager’s role is to grow and nurture employee talent. This CPA Ontario webinar will teach managers how to coach their teams to greater performance. Managing by coaching encourages an employee’s ability to problem solve, make decisions and follow through. Participants will experience a coaching session, prepare a coaching strategy and script a coaching conversation.
This workshop will discuss the significance of adopting a coaching mindset and key techniques to coach effectively. Participants will learn to distinguish coaching from other employee development interventions. This course is an excellent add-on to the CPA seminar Management Skills 101: Performance Management and Development.
