Changing the way value is exchanged. The blockchain is a disruptive technology that allows value to be securely transferred with no central authority involved. Blockchain technology is changing the way multiple industries operate with cryptocurrency, and its impact on society is poised to be significant. This course provides an overview of blockchain technology including how transactions are made, anonymity and transparency, and network design.

Patrick Baron is the founder and CEO of Blockchain Consulting Group in San Francisco. He works with startups developing blockchain infrastructure and applications as they go to market. Patrick also co-founded an Ethereum derivatives trading platform that used fiat-backed stablecoins to settle trades.
