Introduces new thinking of teaching accounting to non-accountants in the work place and with clients. This framework has been developed through literature reviews, seminar leader’s research/observations and numerous interviews. Participants will be able to develop customized teaching content and approach for any of three non-accounting audiences: 1. Entry level (Typically doing administrative tasks with some budget involvement) 2. Mid management (Risen through the ranks on the technical side and currently find themselves in a management role with budget responsibilities) 3. Senior management (Senior role in a non-accounting function, i.e. human resources, marketing, operations, etc.) Participants may also find this helpful if they wish to part-time teach accounting at a university or college. All participants will receive a customizable e-copy of a paper-based-simulation game.
