EVENT DESCRIPTION
Members and Public are invited to a special CPA Ontario event at Rogers Centre in Toronto on September 26, 2023 with Toronto Blue Jays v. New York Yankees. CPA Ontario will host you in a private suite on the 400 Level (Seating Area 410), which includes a buffet dinner and a seat, with a cash bar. Members can bring family and friends and make it a memorable evening.

COURSE DESCRIPTION
Teleworking, working from home, office sharing, the third place, hot-desking, dispersed teams... remote working is an increasingly widespread phenomenon in today’s organizations. Most freelancers and startups do so spontaneously, and several million employees do at least some of their work remotely. But remote working raises major challenges and requires considerable proficiency with digital tools. This course gives you the keys to successful remote working.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
By the end of the course participants will be able to:
- Explain the risks and opportunities of remote working
- Apply techniques to adapt to remove working
- Describe how motivation can be affected by remote working and how to keep morale high
- Practice tools for communicating effectively
- Illustrate how to create connections to foster remote teamwork

FORMAT:
This e-Learning course is broken into several modules that learners can complete in a time convenient for them. Learners are encouraged to break the course up into manageable chunks according to their schedules. Modules include an assortment of engaging short videos, interactive sessions, reflective questions and takeaway worksheets.
THIS EVENT INCLUDES (both the online course and the game, which will take place at Rogers Centre at: 1 Blue Jays Way, Toronto, ON)
- Gates open at 5:30 pm and you will have access to the private room if you want to arrive early.
- Game starts at 7:07 p.m.
- The course will cover 2.5 hours of CPD.
