Roni Michael joined KPMG Israel in 2002, and became a partner in 2008. She has held several leadership positions within the Israeli practice and since 2014 has been KPMG Israel’s Head of Innovation, leading their Technology Consulting practice, and driving development of KPMG Israel’s Data & Analytics, Digital, Cyber, and Cloud practices. Roni established KPMG Israel’s Alliances group, which is part of their thriving and highly successful start-up ecosystem.
Roni is dedicated to innovation and is responsible for harnessing the voice of innovation within KPMG’s global organization; sponsoring solution led innovation; connecting and empowering KPMG’s innovation ecosystem; and collaborating with sectors and functions to source and scale initiatives globally.
Adrienne O’Neill holds the position of Global Controller and Group Chief Accounting Officer. In this role, Adrienne is responsible for Company-wide financial reporting practices and controls. She has overall accountability for accounting policy, external and internal financial reporting, expenses, the Company’s global finance transformation and the enterprise’s financial planning and reporting systems.
Previously, Adrienne was the Global Head of Investor Relations responsible for leading the Company's global investor relations program, serving as the Company's primary spokesperson to the investment community, overseeing the preparation of investor communication materials and providing strategic counsel to Manulife's senior management team. Adrienne will continue to oversee investor relations in her new role.
Adrienne has been with Manulife for over thirteen years and has held progressively senior finance roles in Manulife’s wealth and insurance businesses. Prior to joining Manulife in 2007, Adrienne worked in the Advisory practice at KPMG.
Adrienne holds an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Wilfrid Laurier University. She earned her Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Accountant (CA) from Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario as well as her Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from the CFA Institute.
John Ruffolo is the Founder and Managing Partner of Maverix Private Equity, a private equity firm focused on technology-enabled growth and disruption investment strategies. He is also the Founder of OMERS Ventures and Co-Founder and Vice Chair of the Council of Canadian Innovators. Before joining OMERS, John was a Partner at Deloitte, as well as their Global Thought Leader, Global Tax Leader, and Canadian Industry Leader for their Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) practice. He is an active board member in the profit and not-for-profit sectors and continues to be recognized for his unparalleled contributions to the growth of the technology sector and expansive vision of Canada’s economy.
Stephanie Terrill is a Chartered Accountant with more than 25 years of international business experience including both professional services, industry role and an entrepreneur. She has a track record of growing businesses including founding her own small business in Australia to leading one of the fastest growing business units at KPMG Canada. Her strategic approach to growth means she inspires large teams, attracts top talent and executes effectively.
Prior to assuming her current role, Stephanie spent three years as a member of KPMG’s Board of Directors, where providing oversight and governance and helped the management understand and anticipate the impact of the emerging digital economy and the need to invest in related capabilities. Previously, she held the role of KPMG’s Global Leader for Finance Transformation, in this role she developed new products and services that were implemented local country member firms across the globe.
In her community work, Stephanie is especially passionate about children and women’s advancement. Stephanie is committed to doing what she can to improve the lives not only of the children in her community but also their families. In service of this aim, Stephanie co-founded the Black Dogs Ski Club in Calgary, established a Terrill Women’s Scholarship fund at University of Waterloo and talks at numerous corporate and professional forums on advance of Women.
