Join us on Monday, Jan 30th for our first CPD event of the year! Hamilton CPA Ontario Association welcomes Ron Monteiro CPA, CMA as our first speaker of 2023!

Ron is a Senior Finance & Accounting professional with 20+ years of business experience. Throughout his career he has naturally gravitated towards training, coaching and mentoring experiences. This includes developing and teaching training courses, one-on-one coaching, and developing seminars and lectures (domestic and international) for small groups and audiences of up to 300 participants. He is a life-long learner and teacher, and his passions include coaching, building confidence and authentic leadership. He has a tremendous passion to help individuals develop into fantastic and team-first leaders in their professional and personal lives.

Ron grew up in Kenya where the educational focus was on building a very strong academic foundation with little emphasis on the importance of soft skills. When he moved to Canada, he had underdeveloped interpersonal and soft skills which was a significant hurdle to overcome during his University years and at the start of his career.

His turning point was the excellent training, development and mentorship that he had at Kraft Foods. He evolved from a shy individual who had good insights but lacked confidence to voice them, into a confident business partner who relishes the opportunity to present his insights and opinions.
