EVENT DESCRIPTION
Members and Public are invited to a special CPA Ontario event at Rogers Centre in Toronto on June 8, 2023 with Toronto Blue Jays v. Houston Astros. CPA Ontario will host you in a private suite on the 400 Level (Seating Area 410), which includes a buffet dinner and a seat, with a cash bar. Members can bring family and friends and make it a memorable evening.

COURSE DESCRIPTION
Everyone is prone to biases and mistakes that cause poor judgement, harm others, and perpetuate systems of inequality. This course offers a conscious path to making improvements, standing up for ourselves, and being allies to others. You will learn how to apply diversity, equity, and inclusion principles in your work, which can help you provide better service to clients and promote a fair and just workplace

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
By the end of the course, participants will gain an ability to stand up for diversity and inclusion, the readiness to be an ally, and an alertness to bias and microaggressions and the harm that they can cause.

- Gates open at 5:30 pm and you will have access to the private room if you want to arrive early.
- Game starts at 7:07 p.m.
- The course will cover 3.0 hours of CPD.
