EVENT DESCRIPTION

This course is a provocative discussion of ethical issues in accounting and finance and their resolution focusing on an important component, your gut instinct. We will explore what it is, how to apply it, how it can help you and its relationship to the Code of Ethics. Your gut instinct can serve as an important tool, especially when paired with other formal analysis methods to drive improved ethical decision-making. We will review examples in financial reporting, contract payments, job interviews, fund-raising, government grant programs and more.
